Terms of Employment: Temporary Full-Time

Description: perform a variety of administrative duties in support of managerial and professional employees

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries or forward to appropriate person
  • Provide general information to clients and the public
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
  • Log Data received by employees for services provided into a spreadsheet and/or a specified online database
  • Process payments of an invoice with the debit machine
  • Sort, process and verify applications, reports, forms and other documents
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically
  • Send and receive messages and documents using fax machine or electronic mail
  • Order office supplies, service office equipment and arrange for servicing in the case of major repairs.
  • Assist with department administrative needs,
  • Other duties as may be assigned within the reasonable scope of work of the position

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience in similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • The candidate must successfully complete a site pre-employment drug test as per the company policy

Schedule:

  • Regular hours consist of day shift work schedule, from Monday to Friday, whereas overtime may be required at times to meet the demands of the position.
